What is a Quilt Chat?

An hour of women gathering in a home before work, to caffeinate and connect with other women around a topic of conversation. Everything from purpose, to authenticity, to fundraising!

 

What is a LearnShop?

LearnShops are an opportunity to learn about topics that interest you, from women you admire. Topics range from Facebook Ads to self care and financial planning. Learnshops are 75 minutes, 15 minutes for arrival, 45 minutes of education and 15 minutes for Q&A. 

 

What is a Co-Working?

Co-working is a productive 4-hour session where 3-10 women come together and work silently side by side. The first hour is designed to foster connection.

 

What cities are hosting Quilt?

We are currently live in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. We are expanding quickly, if you'd like to stay in the loop sign up for our newsletter here.

 

How do I become a host? 

If you are in one of our active cities, we request you attend a Quilt Chat to experience it before opening your own home. Look at our calendar and book your first session. Once you have attended, fill out our hosting form here

 

What time does it start?

You can pick a start time between 7-10am or 5-8pm. We are empowering our hosts to choose the best time for their community.

 

Where do the Chat topics come from?

Quilt themes each month and provides discussion guides with questions that hosts can choose from. The intention is to make it super easy for women to come together and have a meaningful conversation.

 

How many women show up?

Anywhere from 3-12 women. The maximum number of 12 can be added to your listing.

 

I have 10 friends, but i'm interested in meeting new people, is that ok? 

Of course, this is about meeting new people! The best way for us to thoughtfully grow our community is through friends of friends.  

 

Where do women find out about Quilt?

Quilt communicates the sessions on our social channels and weekly newsletter. To continue building a diverse community, every host is asked to share with the women in their lives. This is just as much your community as it is ours.

 

What's in it for the host?

Chat hosts get paid a flat $15 for opening their homes. Plus, the opportunity to create community without leaving your house. You no longer have to rely on the awkward 500 person conference to build your network. Imagine making real connections with a few women at a time.

 

What’s the cost for a guest?

Membership is $79 per quarter or $199 per year for access to unlimited Chats in every city we're active, the online group, member directory and community gatherings. So if you're travelling from Los Angeles to New York you can be a part of that community too!

 

What happens after the Quilt Chat?

Members and hosts continue connecting through our Facebook group.
